A North Carolina firm building a hangar at Yeager Airport where a man was crushed to death Thursday does not have a West Virginia contractors license, a requirement to do such business in the state. A worker for Waynes Erecting LLC was killed about 9:10 a.m. when the steel scaffolding of the hangar collapsed. He was trying to bolt portions of the superstructure together while on a scissors unit, a type of scaffolding that hoisted him into the air. The steel structure fell on the scissors unit, crushing the man to death. .

Lewin's work with ACF included assisting 45 Healthy Marriage grantees with implementing programs, strategic planning, establishing performance measures and development of management information systems, among other things.
